The Weymouth Festival is a great weekend of hockey to celebrate the start of summer. We've been running hockey festivals in Weymouth for years, this year is our first revamped festival on a new date, and look forward to welcoming both new and returning teams to our new and improved festival this year.

All outdoor hockey played at the festival will be a 7-a-side half-pitch format with separate tournaments for Mens, Ladies & Mixed teams.

All the games are played on a single site at Redlands Community Sports Hub.

Games will be short with teams playing several games spread out over the Saturday and Sunday. The games will be played on grass pitches.

The festival will get underway with the first games Saturday morning - you are able to camp on site from Friday night.

Full details of the playing schedule, pitch layout etc will be announced much nearer the time.

Whilst games are 7-a-side there is no limit on the number of people you can bring with you (entry costs just £20 per person). If you've got a large group, you can of course enter two (or more) teams.

Alongside the outdoor tournament we are the only festival to run an Indoor Competition. This is run on the Sunday and is both fun and competitive. For more details on this year's indoor tournamemt, please click here.

Our festival is one of the cheapest around.

Entry costs just ££20 per person as an all-in price for your weekend of hockey and your evening entertainment (but not your food or drinks, sorry!). We think this is easier and more transparent than charging separately for entertainment once you get here.

Teams can sign-up and pay online via the website. A deposit of £10 per person is required on sign up. Once you've entered your team you can add extra people at any point-ensuring you pay a deposit for them as well. Obviously, if you have enough players you can enter more than 1 team.
